Greetings to all readers and subscribers, and special greetings to the paid subscribers!

New Age literature is full of nice ideas like cosmic consciousness, a higher level of human consciousness that would be better attuned to cosmic consciousness, a nicer level of human consciousness that would include other people and all life in an extended concept of self, other worlds that we don’t perceive, other dimensions, time travel, life after death, spirit worlds and similar things.

Many New Agers feel the need to support these nice ideas with “scientific” arguments and analogies based upon science that they don’t really understand well enough. Some of these people are scammers, but others are honest seekers of truth. Unfortunately their often evident lack of scientific understanding backfires and leads critical observers to conclude that it is all bullshit.

I’ll now outline some cases where real science, not only speculative science but also mainstream consensus science, supports New Age intuitions. All the references below have been written by scientists who really know what they are talking about, including some Nobel Prize winners and Nobel level scientists.
