IMO Howard's missing of the trees from the forest is very disturbing. He complains about antisemitism and then exposes himself to be a devout anti-Islam willing to justify genocide of anyone who might align with the writings of Mohammed. In this he espouses the very evil he claims to be against. Will he see that he is the very strawman he wields? His Hebrew Miqra can also be interpreted as God seeking the murder and destruction of the heathen and by that logic making him every bit as much a MAGA as his MAGA "friends." If he would think I am misinterpreting what he says, then maybe he should go back and look at how he has misinterpreted those who might say "free Palestine."

His "math" is also problematic. Gördel might help him out here. It is not that we have no axioms, it is just that the axioms are in the math and not in the reality. In the math, the singular concept is valid. Two "singulars" do yield a double. It is only physicality that requires scaling to 1 and 0 or true or false because physical is incomplete. It is incompletely nonlocal. Physical hides behind a temporal and spacial incomplete nonocality. Einstein relativity says that time at my head cannot completely sync with the time at my feet. Yet we "scale" it close enough that it works and provides us with enough of a ghost to perceive these energy fluctuations as matter. It is not that 1 + 1 ever equals 3. It is that there is no exact "whole" in anything real. So, in other words, Howard, please leave the math alone. Math is right. You are also right about math not being reality. However "1 + 1 = 3" does not help your argument. You miss the forest from the trees.

Hi James. Howard is a Jew, and I understand that he sees certain aspects of Islam as an existential threat for Jews. I pointed out that, besides those disturbing aspects, there are other much more positive aspects of Islam that shouldn't be forgotten. I also pointed out that one can find exhortations to violence toward unbelievers in the scriptures of all religion.

By "1 + 1 = 3" we mean new math able to make sense of the emergence of new phenomena that are more than the sum of their parts. Research on this new math is ongoing (at the end we discuss some examples from thermodynamics). My current hunch is that the new math that we need is related to fractal geometry and calculus.
